Breeding Holland Lop rabbits is a very difficult hobby. Of course, that depends on what is your goal on breeding them. If you are breeding to participate in shows, your goal should be to produce animals with great type. Holland lops that are true dwarfs have small litters and many are peanuts. So I would definitely start with two proven does and a excellent buck. Before you buy your first trio, learn what the breed should look like. Study the SOP and Guidebook. Buy the best you can afford and grow your babies. Plan your space as you will need to keep every good prospect for at least 4-6 months.
