When looking for a cage the important thing to keep in mind is that they need space to stretch out when laying and when standing up.
So a pet porter is recommended only for transportation not as a habitat.
We have hutches that are 48"long and 26.50"tall and 28"wide. They love to have place to run and relax...a outside playpen is easy to build and fun for the whole family. Plan ahead and you will enjoy it.
If you are keeping the bunny indoors, make sure the cage is at least 31"x18x17.5" so when you put the litter box inside the baby will have plenty room to play, if you are letting it live free in your house please remember to increase free time little by little as they are potty trained in confined spaces. Also when they are free they my "drop pellets" by accident, so have constant potty breaks until they mature. If you have questions please contact me.
