It's that time of the year when all bunnies are shedding a lot. There isn't many things you can do, since that's a natural process of the body.
They seems to have a shedding period 3 times a year. During heavy shedding is important for you to help your bunny get rid of the hair by brushing its fur daily, since they do not vomit, or spit a hairball, the hair ingested during grooming could start a blockage in their intestines which would make him feel "full" but starve to death. A diet full of Fiber and Greens are a must to avoid such problems.
Bunny grooming is serious business, often we hear others blaming food for blockage, the truth is the lack of fiber, lack of grooming is really what causes blockage. So be sure to brush your bunny often, befriend your vacuum and keep its cage free of hair at all times and always feed fresh greens,(except lettuce) You will hardly notice any loss of hair if you are proactive about grooming.
