Say NO to bunnies as Christmas gifts.
Rabbits are not for everyone, they require time and attention.
They are not pet starters for children!
They need to be spayed and neutered ands they are considered exotic pets which increase Vet bills.
Learn before you adopt.
When you look at humane society and other rescues there are tons of rabbits placed for adoption what a can of worms that subject really is for breeders and for organizations that claim to rescue rabbits..... I wish I could make a difference but the more I think about it the furthest a solution seem to be.
Problem #1 Pet stores and Farmer stores.
They sell rabbits as children perfect pets normally at young age, and normally do that without any screening to see if the family buying is qualified, educated oe prepared to commit for a long life friends.
Problem #2 specially here in Utah are "breeders" that sell cheap bunnies to just anyone that can pay $20.00.
The problem with that is that these animals become disposable, after one week, they are being gifted free on ksl.
Please help us stop excessive breeding and selling of pet bunnies for Christmas!
Bunnies are very smart and fun animals but they shouldn't be children gift.
Please learn about them before adopting one!
