Bunnies need toys to entertain themselves. We use Pine Cones, balls, stuffed animals and a variety of Bunny toys from many different places.
Make sure your bunnies have toys and they will not chew on furniture or wire of his hutch.
Wooden toys must be for bunnies, hardwood toys are a must.
First step for walking your bunny on a leash is to introduce it early, when babies are used to wear the leash since they were young they simply don't struggle with it.
Second step is to fit the leash comfortably.
Third remember that when walking a bunny you really do the following the bunny....
Fourth find a secure location away from predators or dangerous plants.
Enjoy the walk!
Dear potential buyers and waiting list buyers,
I would like to inform you that due to the time I spend online answering questions and photographing available babies, contacting waiting list buyers by phone and email, I have made major changes to my sales policies and waiting list rules.
My goal isn't to have a large waiting list, as a rabbit becomes available I like to find the perfect family to adopt and love our babies, however I focus on animals that I'm keeping for my shows and bloodline foundations instead of becoming a simply pet store.
I assume that all people that pays a adoption fee has read my policies and agrees with them, if you haven't read it yet, please do not pay me anything. The adoption fee is a commitment that you are making to me of adopting one of my rabbits and also a commitment from me that I will give you a choice of a rabbit. I do not like to have your money if you change your mind, but in the same time it costs me money to raise rabbits, contact buyers, take photos and for that reason starting today my adoption fee will be valid for only 6 months and no longer eternity. If you pay your adoption fee and change your mind later on ,you will be willingly forfeiting your payment to the rabbitry costs.
This new policy applies only to buyers that makes their payment after this article has been posted, if you paid your deposit prior to today this new policy does not apply to you, so please disregard.
I have also discontinued my VIPAcess only page as it made even harder for you. I will continue to contact all my waiting list buyers by phone and email.
for further information please read my sales policies and waiting list rules and call me if you still have questions my number is 801-450-0675
I just wanted to share with you the journey of writing a book, of course nothing is new as raising rabbits been around for hundreds of years, what is incredible for me is to be able to actually thing about all that I have been thru. Buying rabbits is so much easier than raise and growing them, some people think that is easy, all they have to do is buy great quality animals and he is all done, well, think again! More and more we watch fanciers giving up about having Holland Lops just because they buy expensive animals and the result is nothing but long rabbits with narrow muzzle. In my book I will truly share with you all that I have learned from breeding Holland lops. I have noticed that experienced, national level breeders most of the time "hide their secret of success" they say they want to improve the breed yet they want all the glory for themselves and they do not share with new ones things that could benefit all Holland lops to begin with ,things like feed, housing, breeding...etc....I love Holland Lops and I do not mind to share all that I know for the benefit of this breed. I'm no expert by no means I'm learning just as much now as I did when I started, however I will share with you just like I would have appreciated if someone shared with me how to raise and how to breed better Holland Lops.
In my book you will find help on choosing your first trio ,recognize quality based on the standard of perfection, breeding, culling, and of course conditioning your rabbits. If we all have better Holland Lops, then the completion will truly begin, I'm in for the long haul, I'm not afraid of the competition and I'm absolutely committed to improved this breed even if it takes 100 of generations of my herd. I'm going to continue to breed and love Holland Lops forever!
